About Birmingham Settlement
Founded in 1899, Birmingham Settlement is one of the city’s oldest charities.
Our aim is to tackle inequality by connecting and empowering people through action, activities, and shared learning for everyone.
We work hand in hand with communities to improve financial security, boost health and wellbeing, and build stronger, more connected, and greener neighbourhoods where people can access opportunities and thrive.
Where we work
With bases in Kingstanding, Ladywood, and Newtown, we’re here to help people through life’s challenges through integrated services, practical support and activities from our centres and in the community.
Our Services
At Birmingham Settlement, we’re here to help you live a healthier, happier life.
From money advice to making friends, getting active, learning new skills, caring for the environment or simply enjoying a cuppa and a chat, we’ll help you connect, grow in confidence, and boost your wellbeing.
