Sporting Elite Summer Holiday Club!
When: Every weekday of the school holidays

Join Sporting Elite for another instalment of their holiday club, every week of the Summer holidays! Try new sports, games, activities, and make new friends. For primary school children aged 4-11.

Join us for a summer of fun! Spend time outdoors, explore nature and connect with friends in a safe and welcoming community space!

- Spot wildlife, identify bugs, learn about composting and caring for land
- Bring a picnic and relax!
- Red Shed Community Cafe serving drinks, ice creams and snacks. Toilets and baby changing facilities on site.
Stuart MaConies Big Summer Quiz!
When: Sunday 9th August, doors open at 5pm, quiz starts at 7.30pm

The man from 6music is back hosting the latest edition of the 1000 Trades quarterly quiz – and we’re delighted he’s raising funds for Birmingham Settlement!
Summer Sports Day at the Settlement!

Come along to try out fun new sports and wellbeing sessions and discover the range of sports on offer at our Kingstanding centre. Prizes to be won! FREE.
Crafts & Robots!
When: Wednesday 12th August, 12pm-3pm
Where: Birmingham Settlement Sports & Community Centre, 600 Kingstanding Road, Birmingham, B44 9SH
Explore how robots might be used in the future as we craft, build and make with the team from the University of Bristol. This session is part of our ongoing ‘Birmingham Settlement Futures’ project, using technology to imagine the futures we want to see for our neighbourhoods.
Moths, Coffee & Craft Morning
When: Saturday 22nd August, 9.30am-11.30am
Where: In the Nature Zone, Birmingham Settlement Nature & Wellbeing Centre, 79 Selwyn Road, Edgbaston Reservoir, B16 0SL
Join us for a magical morning of moths!
Unbox the overnight moth trap and discover the species found by the urban oasis of Edgbaston Reservoir.
Enjoy fresh coffee (teas also available) under the shade of the pergola and take part in a small moth craft if you wish.
This event is being run as a small fundraiser for our Green Barn Crowdfund – we appreciate donations (suggested £10). However, we don’t want this to put anyone off so we appreciate whatever you can!

River Tours: The Avon with Stan’s Cafe
When: Thursday 13th August, 2.30pm
Where: In the Amphitheatre at Birmingham Settlement Nature & Wellbeing Centre, 79 Selwyn Road, Edgbaston Reservoir, B16 0SL
What makes a river special is what happens along it, on it and in it?
Gather round an extraordinary three metre long textile map for a 55 minute storytelling tour of the world famous and much loved River Avon
Stride for the Settlement!
When: Saturday 12th September from 1pm
Where: Birmingham Settlement Nature & Wellbeing Centre, Edgbaston Reservoir, 79 Selwyn Road, B16 0SL
Join us for either a 5k or 10k sponsored walk or run around the Edgbaston Reservoir! You will help raise vital funds towards building our new green barn community space at the Nature & Wellbeing Centre, allowing us to provide even more activities and events for all ages in this new sheltered space. Following completion of your walk / run, join us for a Family Fun Day in the afternoon full of stalls, activities, games, and much more!

Indoor Car Boot Sale!
When: First Sunday of the month from 6th September, 10am-2pm

A classic old-school car boot sale, indoors and open all year round! Browse bargains, buy and sell pre-loved items while helping reduce waste and keep items out of landfill – all in a friendly community space.
