Ageing Well - Older Adults
Getting older shouldn’t stop you enjoying life and through our Ageing Well programme for over 50s, we can help you do just that.
Whether you’re looking to make new friends, learn something new, or stay fit and healthy through trying out different exercise classes, Ageing Well has something to offer!
We have a wide range of activity sessions for you to get involved with. From our Community Choir and Dog Training Sessions, to Tai Chi, Bowls, and Cuppa and Chatter – there’s something for everyone!
As well as offering a wide range of activity sessions, we also deliver Wellness Warriors and one-to-one support. These provide an open space for you to discuss issues relating to health and wellbeing with our Ageing Well support caseworker, Adele.
Our Ageing Well group also go on trips! For example, we have been to Weston-Super-Mare (as pictured below).

Combining breathing exercises and gentle motions, Tai Chi offers a gentle form of exercise which can improve strength, balance and flexibility and aids relaxation.
Sing-along with our Community Choir every Wednesday afternoon! Our Choir provides the perfect opportunity for you to sing your favourite songs and new tunes every, led by our experienced choir lead.
Cuppa and Chatter
Meet new people in your local community with this weekly sociable session. Includes a range of activities from quizzes to talks from guests (topics including blood pressure, fall prevention etc).
Our weekly dog training sessions are on Tuesdays in Kingstanding, 10am – 12:30pm .
