Starting your own Community Group from Scratch

There are many different reasons why someone may want to set up a group which can be both exciting and challenging.  This course provides advice on how to get individuals involved in your group, deciding on its purpose and agreeing a set of rules and principles that will govern it. It gives practical information about things you may need to do such as opening a bank account, allocating roles and understanding legal structures. External factors such as the wider community impact and engagement with the media are also actively considered.   This course is suitable for anyone who has an interest in this area.
