Adult Safeguarding
This one part training course is relevant for anyone working with vulnerable adults or for those who simply wish to understand how to recognise the signs of abuse and learn the important steps they can take to safeguard a vulnerable adult’s well-being. The training content will include; defining abuse, patterns of abuse, those most at risk of abuse; the 10 categories of abuse; signs and indications that abuse might be occurring; defining safeguarding and taking safeguarding action; and the issue of client consent and safeguarding. Please note this is adult safeguarding training and not children’s safeguarding.
This session will last approximately 120 minutes and is delivered online via Zoom.
