Birmingham Settlement is looking for a proactive, creative and committed individual to support the development and delivery of our activities and services. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Birmingham’s oldest charities at a time of growth and innovation.
About the Role
Job Title: Senior Community Action Worker
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexible – occasional evenings/weekends)
Location: Birmingham Settlement Sports & Community Centre, Kingstanding
Contract: Permanent
In this varied role you will:

Develop, lead and manage activities that support individual and community leadership, voice and engagement

Encourage active living, offering a diverse range of opportunities and learning activities to encourage physical health and wellbeing

Develop partnerships and support greater use of the centre and its facilities
