Birmingham Settlement Neighbourhood Futures Festival: Thursday 27 June – Sunday 30 June 2024

A four-day festival embracing nature, right in the heart of Birmingham!

Thought-provoking activity, conversation, action, art and performance focused on community wellbeing and climate change, exploring how we can combat global issues within our own neighbourhoods.

It takes a village! The Neighbourhood Futures Festival is delivered with the University of Birmingham Centre for Urban Wellbeing, The Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust and in partnership with local Councillors, artists, educators, wellbeing providers and many more.

Our 2024 festival concludes with two family-friendly days to celebrate and enjoy our local neighbourhood, with themes of connecting with nature and maximising wellbeing and happiness!

Expect more insightful workshops, nature-based play for all ages, accessible music and performance as well as arts and crafts, inclusive sports and fun and games on the festival field. 

Want to Volunteer?

Are you interested in climate change, environment, wellbeing, or urban development? Volunteering is a great opportunity to build confidence, make new friends and create positive impact. There are opportunities beyond the festival to support the work of Birmingham Settlement through volunteering, student placements, and work experience.
