We are partnering with the Wildlife Trust to provide a Level 1 Training Course in Tool Use. Please see below:

Taking place from Monday 24th October – Friday 28th October 2022, this Tools Use OCN Level 1 Training Course will teach participants how to use and maintain a range of different tools whilst helping to carry out practical conservation work, utilising a variety of habitat management techniques.

This free course is open to all young people aged 16-25, with the qualification accredited by the Open College Network West Midlands. It takes place at The Red Shed, Edgbaston Reservoir from 10.00am – 14.00pm over each of its five days. 

Whether you’re interested in taking your first steps on a path towards a career in conservation or you simply hope to gain experience using tools and carrying out practical work, this course could be for you!
