Community Event Organisation
This lively and interactive course enables participants to create a community event before, during and after it takes place. Participants will be shown how to organise events such as conferences, community campaigns, exhibitions, training, meetings, open days and recruit volunteers. It will also consider why things go wrong (the 9 common errors), give tips on best practice and examine legalities around equality, health & safety and safeguarding. The course is pitched at introductory level.
