We need to raise £50,000 as part of a wider funding package to help bring the Green Barn to life – and we’d love Birmingham businesses to help us get there.
For seven years, Birmingham Settlement, one of the city’s oldest charities, has been transforming a once-neglected playing field beside Edgbaston Reservoir into a thriving Nature & Wellbeing Centre – a unique green space where local people can learn, volunteer, grow, connect and improve their wellbeing.
Now we’re ready for the next chapter: the Green Barn.
A permanent, all-weather community space will allow us to welcome more people, run more activities, support more community groups and create opportunities for learning, volunteering and connection throughout the year.

We are seeking to raise £50,000 through this Appeal towards the construction of the Green Barn, part of a wider £450,000 funding package to complete the project.
We have already secured £111,000 through the Pride in Place Fund and are actively pursuing additional support from charitable trusts and foundations, social investment opportunities, fundraising events, corporate partners and our own charitable reserves.

We’re inviting supporters to become part of its story. Through our Crowdfund campaign, you can personalise a brick with your business name or message. It will become part of the chimney of our community pizza oven – a permanent reminder of the people and organisations who helped make the Green Barn possible.
