Swifts are a declining species in our city, and they need safe places to nest. We’re delighted to offer free swift boxes to local residents, schools, businesses and community groups through the RSPB Swift Academy project!
To make sure the boxes are safe and successful for this amazing migrating bird, please check that your building can meet the simple placement requirements before requesting one – download the placement guide here.
If you have a suitable spot and want to support swifts in our city, pop into the Red Shed Monday-Friday, 8.30am–4pm, to collect your free box!
