Activity Ace
We have activity support roles available at our Kingstanding Sports & Community Centre and Ladywood Nature & Wellbeing Centre. We are looking for people who have a passion to help people of all ages experience and take part in a variety of activities that are fun, safe, social, and educational.
Nature & Wellbeing Centre
To help support the development and delivery of our activity programme at the Nature & Wellbeing Centre on Edgbaston Reservoir. A community facility with a focus on environment, the outdoors, and wellbeing.
Activities may include:
- Little Settlers Nature Club (age 0-5)
- Creative Shed
- Health and Wellbeing
- Family Fun and Sports events
- Community Days
- Setting up and taking down equipment

Sports & Community Centre
The Activity Support Volunteer will help with the running of activities at the Kingstanding Sports & Community Centre, supporting local people to keep active, be healthy, learn new skills, and make new friends. Activities are for all ages and abilities, from play sessions to film nights, sewing classes to craft sessions.
Activities may include:
- Setting up rooms, equipment, and serving refreshments
- Signing in attendees and registering new people
- Encouraging positive group atmospheres
- Building self-esteem and self confidence
- Creating learning opportunities for people to develop new skills
- Leading sessions, such as games, discussions, or activities
