The Birmingham Settlement Nature & Wellbeing Centre is a beautiful urban green space bordering Edgbaston Reservoir, offering opportunities for communities to connect to nature, improve health and wellbeing, learn new skills in the outdoors and model new, sustainable practices.
We have just completed building works on site and we’re now ready to get going, opening our gates to the community and realising our bold ambitions for the unique space.
There are many volunteer opportunities available at the centre, from outdoor nature conservation and site maintenance to gardening and planting, supporting our community projects and helping out in our community cafe at the ‘Red Shed’.
Opportunities are tailored to needs depending on skills and experience, even if you’ve never volunteered outdoors before! Volunteering with us is a great way to make new friends, learn new skills and make a positive impact on the community and environment – enhancing and protecting wildlife and green spaces for future generations.
