In support of Birmingham City Council ‘Cost of Living Week’, and Money and Pension Services ‘Talk Money Week’, Birmingham Settlement will be delivering a range of workshops, presentations and drop-in sessions to help you with the Cost of Living Crisis.
With our trained Money Advisers, come and learn new skills to manage your money and wellbeing during the Cost of Living Crisis.
These sessions will be held on:

- Tuesday 7th November 2023 10:00am – 3:00pm, at Kingstanding Community Centre. Address: 610 Kingstanding Road, Kingstanding, Birmingham, B44 9SH.
- Friday 10th November 2023 10:00am – 3:00pm, at Edgbaston Reservoir Nature and Wellbeing Centre. Address: Edgbaston Reservoir Nature and Wellbeing Centre, Selwyn Road Playing Fields, 79 Selwyn Road, Birmingham, B16 0SL.

10:00am – 11:00am Cost of Living Budgeting Workshop:
1 hour
- Tips and ideas on how to budget and manage your money.
- Learn skills to budget and manage your money.
11:00am – 12:00pm Money Advice Drop-in Session:
1 hour
- Get advice on dealing with your benefits and debts from our expert team of Advisers.
12:00pm – 1:00pm Cost of Living Presentation:
1 hour
- A presentation on making your money go further, trust fund supports from your Utility companies and what to do if you are struggling to pay your bills.
- Learn everything from budgeting your money to what to do if you are struggling to pay your utility debts.
1:00pm – 2:00pm Money Advice Drop-in Session:
1 hour
- Get advice on dealing with your benefits and debts from our expert team of Advisers.
2:00pm – 3:00pm Mindfulness Workshop:
1 hour
- A session delivering mindfulness to help to improve physical and mental wellbeing, by teaching effective tools in managing stress during the Cost of Living crisis.
