Birmingham Settlement is still running its popular Women’s Empowerment Programme (WOW)!
In the last couple of weeks we have delivered a number of exciting and interesting activities from Reading\Discussion Groups, an inspiring International Women’s Day Event, a Craft Workshop (painting stones) and a Crime Prevention\Personal Safety Talk delivered by West Midlands Police.
In the next few weeks we will be running another Reading\Discussion Group, Craft Workshop (Mandela drawing) and a number of ladies will be going on a short trip to a Birmingham Settlement Shop in Sutton Coldfield. We will also be welcoming an important speaker, Nicola Benyahia who will deliver a talk on Countering Radicalisation and Extremism. Come along and join in with the activities, meet new people and socialise!
