Birmingham Settlement is looking for Volunteer Event Assistants and are offering free places on our 12 week Event Management course for people wanting to learn more about Event Management and get the opportunity to gain real life experience.
Where: Birmingham Settlement Community Hub – Kitts Green Road
When: Tuesdays from 1pm to 3pm for 12 weeks starting on Tuesday 28th February
The team at Birmingham Settlement’s Community Hub on Kitts Green Road are looking for Volunteer Event Assistants to help us plan and deliver community events.
To support you in that role we are also offering a 12 week programme of FREE workshops which will start on Tuesday 28th February and will take place on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm here at Birmingham Settlement’s Community Hub on Kitts Green Road. Alongside, we will also offer you one to one support and a personal development plan.
The course will cover and you will gain skills and experience in event management, health and safety, publicity and budgeting as well as providing you with an opportunity to get involved in your community and really make a difference whilst providing you with new skills and real work based experience which you can add to your CV.
