Coronavirus Awareness

In March 2020 in an address to the nation, Boris Johnson said: “The coronavirus is the biggest threat this country has faced for decades – and this country is not alone. All over the world we are seeing the devastating impact of this invisible killer.”

This new coronavirus and the measures taken to prevent its spread, continue to impact all of our lives in one way or another, and it appears this will continue to be the case for the foreseeable future. This training is designed as a general introduction for those who wish to learn more about the coronavirus (SARS COV 2) and the disease that is COVID 19.

The course content will include:

  • Epidemics and Pandemics
  • What are Coronaviruses
  • How they spread – Zoonosis
  • Explaining Case Fatality
  • Symptoms of COVID 19
  • Those most at risk of COVID 19
  • How immunity is achieved
  • Measures to prevent the spread of the virus
