Many community groups and voluntary organisations run services for children and vulnerable adults for which it is important to safeguard children and adults against abuse and neglect.  This lively one day course provides information about how, and in what circumstances you can request DBS checks for individuals, how to use the information you receive and in what circumstances you should share information or concerns about individuals.  The course is pitched at introductory level.
