Trip to Cannon Hill Park & Midlands Arts Centre

When: Tuesday 1st August – Groups leaving hourly from 10am dependent on numbers

Where: Meeting at Birmingham Settlement, 359-361 Witton Road, Aston, B6 6NS

Suggested minimum donation:  £2 per person for transport.

Booking required.

This August we have planned an exciting trip to Birmingham’s popular Canon Hill Park and Midlands Arts Centre (MAC)!  Come along and enjoy a walk in the park made up of 80 acres of formal parkland and 120 acres of conservation and woodland plantation.  Enjoy some stunning exhibitions at the Arts centre situated in the grounds of the park. Exhibitions include “Artist Rooms” – showcasing work of an incredible political artist and “All because of you”- a photographic and text exploration of young northern soulies by photographer Bethany Kane and researcher Sarah Raine.  A range of other fun activities are available at a small cost for example the nature reserve, swan boats and mini golf.
