How you can involved in Volunteers’ Week 2017

As part of Volunteers’ Week 2017 we have two events lined up at our East Birmingham Hub offering you the chance to get involved in your local community and to help you find volunteering opportunities near you.

Lea Village Community Clean Up
When: Wednesday 7th June, 10am – 12pmVolunteers' Week 2017 EB 310517
Where: Meet at Birmingham Settlement’s Community Hub, 316 Kitts Green Road, Birmingham, B33 9SB

Come and support a clean-up of Lea Village. Equipment provided. Please wear sensible shoes. Every volunteer will receive a Volunteers’ Week Certificate and a FREE Ice Cream at our pop up Ice Cream Parlour.

Kitts Green Volunteer Recruitment Afternoon
When: Wednesday 7th June, 1pm – 3pm
Where: The Pump, 286 Kitts Green Road, Birmingham, B33 9SB

This event will showcase local volunteering opportunities, access to DO IT, an interactive website site which helps you to find your perfect volunteering opportunity and lots of information about why volunteering is good for you. Refreshments will be available.
